Let Them Look at the Tree 2

Answer the following question based on the information presented on the previous page.

Imagine that you are walking to instructional swim (the most important activity of your day), you are already late because the children delayed changing, and now the entire group is stopped in front of the camp's petting zoo looking at the llamas. Swim started 2 minutes ago; what do you do?

Yell at the group, urging them to quickly get to swim or they won't get snack at the end of the day.

In a stern, yet friendly voice, remind the children that swim already started and that they can stop and look at the llamas any time, as they are always on grounds.

Roll your eyes, and wait for the children to finish up with the llamas - you figure it will only be another minute or two.

Affirm their fasciniation with the llamas by saying something like, "Aren't llamas cool? They're such interesting animals." And then remind the group that the llamas are always on grounds and that they can see them later while they have snack, but now it's time for swim and they're already late.
