Guidelines for Camp Counselors

It is our responsibility as people looking after the health of children to:

Minimize the opportunities for abusive types of behaviors.
Recognize when these acts are taking place.
Be vigilant about stopping these behaviors.
Protect yourself and campers by never being alone with a camper.
Learn when and how to properly report abuse.
