Practical Applications 2

One of the "Structuring Situations" techniques tells you to plan and create a productive environment by effectively and efficiently manipulating space, time, people, and materials. The idea is to organize the surroundings so that disruptive behaviors are less apt to happen. Imagine that a 2nd grade child in your group is absolutely terrified of your camp's mascot, Happy the Hippo. You go to great lengths to explain to the child that Happy is not real, however the child still has a panic attack every time he/she sees Happy. What would you do to structure your situations so that the other children in the group get a chance to see Happy without upsetting the one scared child?
