Getting Kids to Listen 2

Answer the following question based on the Bob Ditter video shown on the previous page. (You can click the feedback button after your response for tips; you can try this with all options.)

Which of the following is the MOST effective way to get children to listen to you?

Start with a tougher kid, who might require more effort to begin listening and then the others will follow.

Using touch when speaking to children will make them all feel more comfortable and at ease with you.

Bring yourself down to the level of the children when talking to them.

It is always best to abruptly change the tone of things (e.g. from having fun to cleaning up) so the children know you're being serious.
