Rule Together

• During the first or second day of camp, bring your group together to establish rules for the group to follow.
• At times throughout the summer, remind the children of the major rules.
• Kids shouldn't be constantly reminded of rules. Camp is fun and less restrictive than school, so you don't need to do this every day. Create these rules and remind the kids of them as the summer goes on as a preventative/proactive tool.

Based on "Rule Together," think of 3 rules that you would establish in your group this summer in order to manage your group's behavior. If you are a specialist or lifeguard, think of 3 rules you may use at your specialty area that not only maintain safety, but ensure the children will have a fun time.
